I've noticed this for a while, I always have to log in every time I visit the site, even though "Remember Me" is checked. Do other people have this problem too?

I don't know why though, no other websites do that. :/

hmmm. While my password is being automatically provided, it may not be due to any cookie generated by the GV site but rather due to FireFox's password function. FireFox provides the opportunity to "remember" a username/password combination for every site I go to. I forget that its there until I purge all my temporary files and cookies during clean-up and discover that I have to log-in again to a lot of sites.

So, you could be correct that GV is not providing the "Remember Me" function that you expect, or your browser is blocking or deleting the cookie as Mad suggests. Dean's name is associated with the site creation, his insight would be invaluable in this discussion because he can actually speak to the routine he incorporated for "Remember Me."

If you keep getting problems then I'll have a look :)
Dean

P.S. Just wondering, but do you like the auto background change or is it a pain/does it take a while to download?

Dean, the site is great. You did an excellent job. The issue with the changes for me is not the download hit, it is that the transition from a dark background to a light background - it can be jarring given the transparency of the foreground. As an artistice element it is fine, but from the perspective of reading, the background should never take center stage. At this point I would only recommend favoring darker backgrounds, otherwise leave it as it is.

@dancingraptor. Yeah I see what you mean. Some backgrounds are light and have some dark areas and it's sometimes hard to read the text. I'll tweak the post background (slight grey) when I get a bit more time :)
